Honestly, I used to not like corduroy when I was younger. I can remember that I wore them in kindergarden and early school days in multiple colours. However, my feelings about them changed a few years ago when I finally found a pair that had a great straight fit and colour. Nowadays I find them comforting and in these times we all need to cling onto those things that make us feel good.
I got these fantastic pair a few months ago and I live in them since.
I like to wear them with grey, brown on brown, some black and creamy colours. Honestly, they go with everything. The quality and comfort is amazing too. Wearing them here as well.
Some alternatives:

If you are into skirts, here are my favourites + outfit options that you might love as well:
Outfit from yesterday below, styled the pants with my old Bottega Veneta Lug boots, Arma coat and a cosy knit for a very freezing London! It finally started snowing and I could have never felt warmer in these pieces.
Grey and brown together really turned into an obsession: Wore this look a few weeks back in Germany. How perfect is this grey beanie? Combined the pants with my most worn boots from The Row, grey knit & Hermès Herbag that I turned inside out. (I prefer the original version of it, a beautiful dark brown tone but this style looks more sporty and casual, still like it tough.)
Last but not least, styling the pants with a great black staple knit from Toteme, my favourite everyday belt, these gloves and a brown loafer. The brown tones doesn’t match 100% but that’s ok.
Happy first week of January,
Carrie

I am immediately thinking of both Leandra’s Substack on how brown corduroys are the new pants and Ali Lew’s post about mixing brown and grey. Well done!!
