What I Wore Recently & 10 Things for May

A bit of purple, packing for New York and other recent favourites

I’m writing this halfway through packing for New York, the usual mix of excitement and mild chaos. I’m currently surrounded by open suitcases and an ever-growing pile of maybe outfits, trying to find that balance between practical and fun, warm layers and something a little special. I’ll share more on that next week, but for now, here’s what I’ve been wearing lately:

FWSS trench coat, La Collection dress (here is an alt), Prada mules, Métier bag with tassel charm / Racil corduroy jacket, Saint Laurent silk scarf, and another pair of relaxed linen trousers (more laid-back than my Theory ones) / Soeur silver flats, Flore Flore black tee, Sophie Buhai cuff, Bonnie sneakers, mini silk dress, vintage Bottega bag and a cozy grey cashmere knit

This La Collection silk dress is hands down my favourite, I’ve been wearing it for years now. I also added a new trench coat from one of my favourite brands; honestly, you can never have too many trench coats, right? The Métier bag is back again because it fits literally everything. And the Sophie Buhai cuff was such a good buy ..feels a bit more unique than the classic Tiffany cuff, though I absolutely love both.

And since May is already here ..how did that happen? Here are 10 things that have been keeping me inspired:

1. The Row sneakers..perfect if you’re not usually into sneakers but might just change your mind

2. Looking forward to styling this cardigan - super chic with the perfect purple tone

3. This skirt? Total showstopper. Loving the fringe detail!

4. A beautiful and special necklace

5. The perfect white summer dress does exist!

6. Shell tassel necklace.. even more perfect for summer

7. A vanilla-based scent that feels like summer in a bottle

8. Another gorgeous top I can’t wait to style in so many ways

9. Nothing wrong with a black sandal.. a total classic, really

I’m also on the hunt for some inspiration for New York. The Róhe dress and top arrived in the mail this morning and I can’t wait to style them on my trip. Also, I’m kind of into purple lately. If you have any New York recommendations especially galleries or vintage shops, I’d love to know what I absolutely can’t miss.

You’re always asking me about galleries, and Tristan Hoare is definitely one of my favourites, they always have such beautiful, interesting exhibitions and a wonderfully curated space!

Last but not least, I recently stumbled upon this lovely jewellery brand and absolutely adore their 34-carat hand-carved citrine pendant. Each stone is naturally unique, which makes it feel so special.
